Christchurch & The Last Super

Day 27-28: Feb 29-Mar 1

We arrived in Christchurch with just 24 hours to go before our flight back home. Spent a perfect day cruising around and then splurged on a 8 course tasting menu. Couldn’t have come up with a better way to wrap up the trip.

Happened upon these reassuring words on the way home. Yes, everything is going to be alright.
Arrived uncharacteristically to the airport 4 hours early – turned out this was a good move when our CHC-AKL flight was cancelled and we were easily re-booked. The relief is palpable in this pic.
